Codex Hillel

(~A.D. 600)

A prominent manuscript that was used by scholars in the Masoretic period. It has not survived but was said to be very accurate and was used for the revision of other manuscripts. Readings are cited repeatedly by the early medieval Masoretes.

It is traditionally attributed to Rabbi Hillel ben Moses ben Hillel.
